About True Line Construction

C. David Mitchell is Scottish born. Dave’s family immigrated to Canada in 1973. He started working with older family members in the building trades in 1984 and later attended a four year apprenticeship at B.C.I.T. in Burnaby, British Columbia.

In 1997, Dave moved to San Francisco and began working for Pete Moffat Construction in Palo Alto. During his five years there, he attended nighttime courses in estimating and building management.

Over the years, Dave has worked in many aspects of construction, literally from the ground up. He helped build a parking garage in Vancouver including layout for the concrete pours. In Vancouver, Portola Valley and San Francisco, he worked building high-end custom homes in all stages from concept to completion. In 2004, he opened his own company, True Line Construction, to provide quality interior remodels on kitchens, baths, doors, windows, as well as finish carpentry, decks, and stair wells for clients in the San Francisco area.

As owner of True Line Construction, Dave focuses on service and delivery to keep his clients satisfied. “My clients are my first and foremost concern in doing business. From the planning stages through completion of any project I am in constant contact with my clients, architects and the sub-trades. It is my goal to provide top-notch craftsmanship within the timeline and budget I have promised. I firmly believe that quality speaks for itself. Because of this philosophy my clients find the work I do is of the highest standard for a fair and competitive price. When the project is complete, I want to know my clients are satisfied and happy with the work I deliver.”

“I have been working in the Bay Area for over twenty years. During this time, I have established excellent working relationships with all the sub-trades needed to complete my clients projects. I am honored to work with the best in the business. For me, this business is all about relationships.”

True Line Construction is fully bonded, licensed and insured. All of the sub-trades who work with True Line Construction are required to carry all current licenses, bonds and insurances.
